Understanding Family Dynamics:

Families were created by God and is therefore very close to his heart because it was his original design from the beginning. It is said that, unlike our friends, we don’t get to choose our family. That’s because, God himself chooses the family who we are birthed into for his purpose and glory to be manifested through us. So, what has gone wrong with the family structure as we know it today? To get a better understanding, let’s review the various relationships comprising the family from God’s perspective.

Managing Work-Life Balance:

Achieving a good work-life balance is critical to our overall individual and family happiness. We must remember that life is is not always a dress rehearsal and, therefore, we may only get one opportunity to get somethings right. Finding the right balance between time spent in our careers and family time is integral. We need to have set work hours and stick to them so that we can be available for our spouses/significant other and to be there to raise our children under the nurture and admonition of God. Some of the questions that we will explore to help us maintain a healthy work-life balance are as follows:
What must you do to enjoy healthy living and loving relationships?
Are your relationships with family and friends being threatened by work-life challenges that may feel impossible to resolve?
What changes will you need to embrace to improve your work-life balance?

Team Building:

We can accomplish more when we work together as a team with each person using their specific gifts to achieve a shared goal. There is an old saying “many hands make work light”. In order for a team to work effectively, each person on the team should be respectful and receptive to each other’s perspectives as everyone works toward accomplishing a common task. We help families, youth groups, summer camps, schools, and companies of all sizes get the most out of their teams by incorporating the following:
