During my conversation with Ms. Jane, I knew I wanted several answers and guidance for different areas of life. The conversation was very organic and along the way, I had multiple breakthroughs about my family dynamics, my being and actions in relationships (many caused by fears stemmed from my childhood), and gained clarity about my life purpose. With each breakthrough came a lot of emotion...at many points I was shocked because I never expected to have certain realizations, and I also feel that God was giving me certain confirmations that I have been searching for. Talking to Ms. Jane is like talking to a friend. She is a great listener, you don’t need to have a particular agenda, and I felt completely comfortable being vulnerable with her. Whatever it is that you are dealing with, I am sure that Ms. Jane will be a tremendous help and give you clarity on the things that matter most to you.

I believe that God places people in our lives for a designated purpose. Often that purpose is not fully understood until much time has passed and we have time to reflect on a person’s impact in our lives.
Jane entered my life as a work colleague at a hospital in which we both worked as nurses. During the first few years of Jane’s employment , we worked together developing education initiatives for staff nurses. I always admired Jane for her high level of intellect, patience, kindness , and creativity as she worked with staff to help them achieve their highest clinical knowledge base. Jane seemed to have a special sense that allowed her to see beyond the here and now, in meeting people where they stand and provide the resources they needed to improve clinical practice, often beyond their verbalized need.
Little did I know that while Jane was working with me, that she was also perceiving in me what I really needed; not from a professional standpoint, but from a much deeper personal view. In the work environment, I never discussed my personal outside of work concerns, but Jane sensed my deep sadness. One day as I prepared to leave work, Jane asked if she speak with me about something.
That moment in time was the beginning for me, a time when the flood gates of my emotion opened and for the first time, I shared a situation with Jane that has caused me severe turmoil for many years. I have always had an unwavering faith in God, but until that day, other than Jane’s daily Christian behaviors, did I know how deep and sincere was her faith in God.
Although Jane moved on to another position, we stayed in contact. As I began the difficult and very painful journey to move from turmoil and despair to hope, Jane was always there in faith with me. She would stop whatever activity she was doing to pray with me to invoke God’s help and mercy. Her continual reminder to me was that no matter how difficult it was in the moment, God was there with me, walking with me, protecting me. P. K. Maryland

I love and appreciate Jane’s practical use of every day events in analogies referencing the word of God. Jane has been instrumental in teaching me the value of trusting when I don’t see anything happening. I’ve watched Jane -what looks like the brink of collapsing but yet she holds on to God’s unchanging hand.

I believe that my connection to Jane was divinely orchestrated and I am most grateful to God for that. You see, both Jane and I grew up in Liberia which is located on the West Coast of Africa. However, I only knew her in passing then. It was not until I met her at a church, that our relationship began to grow. I have never met someone who is so extremely devoted to the things of God. We both heard a message in church about how Peter was released from prisonbecause the church prayed for him. Jane approached me and said that she was being led for us to pray and fast for each other so that our God ordained purpose and destiny will be manifested in our lives. I refer to her as my Naomi because of her steadfast loyalty, counsel and encouragement in my life. The relationship between Naomi and Ruth was one of loyalty.Just as background, Naomi was the mother-in-law of Ruth. Naomi had lost her husband and both of her sons, one of whom was married to Ruth, while living in Moab. So, Naomi was returning to her native Jerusalem as she said that God had left her with no family. Unlike her older daughter in law, Orpah, who remained in Moab, Ruth followed Naomi. Jane has been a trusted confidante, a prayer partner, and a listening ear and for that I am truly blessed. She shared with me that a mutual friend had told her to pray for me 28 years ago but she didn’t as she thought I wasn’t very nice. She said that the holy spirit convicted her and she asked God what he would have her to do to make amends for not praying for me. She said that she believes that her disobedience was a hindrance in her prayer life. Hence, she asked God what to do and the holy spirit ministered to her and advised that she should fast for me for 28 days to release that restraining order in her prayer life. To God be the glory for the victory she is experiencing as a result of her obedience.
Ruth 1:16 says Ruth replied, do not urge me to leave you or to turn from following you. For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you live, I will live; your people will be my people and your God will be my God..

Jane and I also shared a strong belief in Angels. We would share stories of feeling their presence and appreciating their intercession within our lives. Jane shared her dreams and I shred the countless times that I experienced help from my Angel when I requested and/or needed help. Jane and I both knew how fortunate we were to believe and be touched by angels. At this point and time I have arrived at a place of acceptance and peace. God , my Guardian Angel, the Blessed Mother, all the Saints and Angels in heaven , my deceased loved ones , as well as Jane have held me up as I carried my cross. It still amazes me that even now, if I experience a time of sadness, Jane calls out of the blue to say a prayer with me. I feel God has given her a gift, a most rare and precious gift, in strengthening our connection to God through shared prayer and a dedicated time for adoration to our Lord. Although I miss working with Jane in the role of Professional Nurse, I feel she has been called to even higher level of service, service to our Lord. Jane touches our lives in a way that reinforce for us the importance of total reliance on the Lord, not just in times of pain, but always!
